FAQ

Wet belt questions, answered straight

Why is the dealer quoting £1,400+ for the same job?+

Dealer pricing covers franchise overheads, four-figure hourly labour rates and the assumption you'll pay it. We charge what the work costs plus a fair margin — that's it.

What does the price include?+

Wet belt, tensioner and idlers, oil pump pickup pipe, fresh manufacturer-spec oil, OE oil filter, all consumables and the labour to do the job properly. No hidden extras.

Are there cases where it costs more?+

Yes — if the belt has shed material into the sump we drop and clean the sump, which adds £150–£200. We always tell you before doing this work.

Do you offer payment plans?+

We accept card and bank transfer. For larger jobs we can sometimes split payment across two visits — ask when booking.
