My Vauxhall is still under warranty — what should I do?+
Contact Vauxhall first; if they refuse to cover it under goodwill, we'll happily quote the independent fix at a fraction of dealer prices.
How long can I leave it?+
Don't. Wet belt failure is sudden — usually with no warning beyond what's listed above. The longer you drive on a deteriorated belt, the bigger the eventual bill.
