Transit wet belt cost — what Bridge van owners pay

Working van? Here's exactly what a Transit wet belt costs to replace at our Canterbury workshop, and how we keep your downtime to a minimum.

✓ 12-month parts & labour warranty✓ OE-grade timing kits✓ Same-day diagnosis✓ Fleet & trade rates

The villages south of Canterbury — Bridge, Bekesbourne, Patrixbourne — are full of working Transits. Couriers, plumbers, joiners, you name it. Almost all of them with the 2.0 EcoBlue diesel under the bonnet, and almost all of them carrying the same ticking time-bomb: the wet timing belt.

We run Transit and Transit Custom wet belt jobs from our Canterbury workshop for £950–£1,250 fully fitted. That's belt, tensioner, idlers, oil pump pickup, fresh Ford-spec oil and filter, plus the labour to do the job properly.

Compare that to a main-dealer quote (we routinely see £1,800–£2,400 for the same work) and you can see why our phone keeps ringing.

We schedule fleet jobs and single vans differently. If you've got one van and can't afford a day off the road, we'll get you in early and out by 5pm. If you run a small fleet between Bridge and Canterbury, we'll batch them so you only ever lose one at a time.

Email or WhatsApp your fleet list and we'll come back with a tailored quote.
